Since 1989, the Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC) has built trust by delivering quality residential and non-residential infrastructure for the Police and allied departments, including Prisons, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), the Education, and other Government departments. It was started at times when the satisfaction level was very poor.
Housing & better working environment not only has a bearing on the morale of the force, providing better facilities to police is also essential for attracting better talent in the police department. Housing facility for family & better work place is required for a policeman, as policing is not a 9 to 5 office job. In any law & order situation, forces are deployed round the clock, away from their houses. So, creation of Haryana Housing Corporation (HPHC) was more than a welfare measure.
Our guiding principles: Competitive costing, efficiency, eco-friendliness, sustainability, and timely completion, shape every milestone. From e-tendering and e-payments to real-time project monitoring and digitising land and building records, our processes are transparent, accountable, and fast. This commitment to green construction has earned us prestigious recognitions, including HUDCO's Best Practice Award for Environment-Friendly Buildings and ratings from the Indian Green Building Council—clear affirmations that we build responsibly, for generations yet to come.
Future planning: Aligning with the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of 2026 as the "Year of Police Modernisation and Welfare" and the robust intent of Hon. CM Shri Nayab Saini, to provide the modern, high-tech infrastructure to bolster Police capabilities, HPHC is embarking on its biggest-ever transformation in the history of the Haryana Police, with an investment of nearly Rs 980 crore over the next two years in implementation of around 250 projects.
